After the Roots Picnic the lovely Miss JAG set up an Unofficial Roots Picnic after party ft. Mac Miller’s DJ Clockwork, Skratch Makanik vets DJs Bee and Jay-Ski, & SMC new comer ME! It was a long day after the Picnic but the party continue at Grey’s Social. On top of a four turntable set up we got to rock with some of Philly’s Best Musicians! It was a great night of music, dancing, and drinks…I got some great footage of Bee and Jay-Ski going at it with the Mardi Gras/Peter Piper beat. I call it
“Bad Meaning Good.” I must say it is an honor to rock the tables with such well respected DJ’s. I grew up listening to Jay-Ski on the radio. And seeing Bee makes you really appreciate the art of turntablism. I hope to be on there level one day. I’m so humbled to play with such great talent.

So happy i got this moment! haha! Big Shout out to MAC MILLER!!!
Roots Picnic.. The Legendary Roots Crew… Not to mention the city that I was born in and really built my music foundation. I then was introduced to DJing when i went to college at University of Pittsburgh. If I were to truly explain what this show means to me it would take it’s own website. First of all I was the biggest Roots fan growing up. My boy Eric Carp during Sophomore year gave me “Do You Want More” (The Roots 2nd album) on our school bus on the way to high school. I was hooked…. The Jazz.. The Funk… The Soul… The Rap… I was hooked… I could hum every note on Essaywhuman?!!!??! for you on that album. That was the album that did it for me. That was Hip Hop to me.
Fast Forward… 15 years later… 12 years of Djing… and I get to play The G_d Damn Roots Picnic. I’ll let the moment speak for its self… Check out my pics and vids Below… Oh let me mention that during our set The Young Gunz, Freeway, and Beanie Sigel came out at rocked the mic. Philly was alive! The crowd showed us love and the rest is history!
Peace to my dear friends and family who came out to see me rock. Christine, Christopher, Tori, Shelby, Gita, Jeannie, Poli, Kenny, Sara, Dj Royale, Kathleen, Christine H., Leslie, Katie B, Tony my neighbor and all the new friends I made! – Thank you

Wow.. What a weekend.. 3 Great shows! Hot 106 Hot Nights, Roots Picnic, & Hot 97 Summer Jam. The show in Rhode Island was a nice way to warm up the weekend. We got to share the stage with some big artist with this one. Jeremiah, Fabolous, Lloyd Banks, and Lupe Fiasco were some of the names to bless the stage. Wiz also performed “Oh My” with Fabolous. Check out my video of the performance below. We are doing a bunch of the Summer Jam type shows this year. Its really cool to see an even like this because for some reason PGH doesn’t have a Summer Jam or anything like that. On another note its also great meeting other DJ’s on the road. I met the legendary Dj Four Five! He’s been around since the late 80’s he actually did the scratches on EPMD’s classic “You Gots to Chill” on Strickly Business. Four Five is a pioneer in the DJ game! Big shout out to him! Follow him on twitter @Dj4our5ive

I’m a few days late on this post. But better late then never! We are on our way to do a quick little run this weekend but I had to mention our Memorial day fun last weekend in Illinois! We went to M.O.E. ‘s Summer Camp Festival and shut it down. I don’t mean to stereo type this shit but this is definitely a festival for hippies. haha.. I mean music lover of course. Everything is going on, dancing, drugs, drinking, hula hooping. What ever your thinking it’s probably happened at Summer Camp! It’s great to play for an audience like this. I really feel they are here for the music and not to mention all the weed songs too! hahah… Below are pics and a nice little video of us performing “In the Cut” Look at all the smoke!
Not a bad looking crowd to rock…

Ok.k.k.k.k.k.k.k. WOW… Been going through some old hard drives and looking at some of the pics and videos that I have accumulated over time! I’ve been djing since 1998 so I can easily say that I’ve had more than my fair share of memories. Whether it’s the radio station, college days, or me being adventurous, there is so much to share. I also think it can maybe give my new fans and supporters a general idea where I came from. I’m so excited to share these things. With all the success that is happening now it humbles me to see how it came to be. My life is so blessed. And I thank God everyday to be here. SOOOOO…. I will be doing throwback posts every week! It may be a video, it may be a pic, it may be a rap song that I may have recorded back in the day. Whatever it is. It’s me. It’s how I got here… And I’ve loved every minute of it…
Me and RIRI….. Yes… I remember this day so vivdly. I remember my old boss saying to me. You have to do an interview with an artist from Barbados. At that time I remember doing a bunch of interviews mainly with new artists. A lot of those artist eventually become no one. When I found out I was doing an interview then with 17 yr. old Rihanna, I can honestly say I wasn’t that geeked. It was just a part of the job. She had already came out with her first album with the “Music of The Sun”, which Pon The Replay and If it’s Lovin That You Want, but those singles weren’t really super smashes. The label was promoting her new album “A Girl Like Me” and the single “S.O.S.” Rihanna came in and was totally fun and open. (Despite what I hear about her these days.) The interview was cool and I remember specifically asking her about how soon she was turning 18. I also gave her a Pittsburgh Pirates stuffed animal and I always wondered if she still has it. lol. Maybe I’ll run into her one day and ask! Enjoy the pics!
Memorial day weekend started with a show with the legendary Chromeo! When I hear we were sharing the stage with them I was so excited to see the show! Of course they did not disappoint! and neither did Chicago! Chicago is just one of those towns that has everything to offer! It even has its own flavor on the fashion side! I got to check out Jugrnaut a dope clothing boutique! Big shout out to the staff for lacing me up with the fresh threads! Check out their website at http://www.jugrnaut.com ! I also got to hang with some Chicago homies! Shout out to Pablo, Deepti, D-Double, and Matt Boy White for always showing me love in the Chi! The show at DePaul was nuts after a long school year I’m sure the students needed to get crazy as they did when Chromeo and Wiz hit the stage! Check out pics out below of course!

During my trip to the Paris I got to check out the Eiffel Tower Up Close and personal! As funny as it sounds me and my new friends in Paris, Him & Karen, lied down directly underneath the Eiffel Tower with a unique view looking right up under the Tower. It was exhilarating!!! Thank you Paris!
Man! France is a beautiful city and I was lucky enough to explore in a non-traditional way, on a motor bike! As we roll through the city the journey ends with meeting the Eiffel tower for the first time! Thanks to HIM for taking me around on the bike. Shot Bill Paladino for catching some of that beginning footage! And much love to the city of Paris. I shot and produced this video. I also produced the music as well!
